Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 June 2026

About these terms

These terms govern enquiries made through this website and the basis on which Cyphral provides its services. They do not themselves form a contract for any specific engagement; each engagement is agreed separately in writing.

Our services

Cyphral provides Cyber Essentials readiness consulting: we help businesses prepare for the Cyber Essentials scheme.

Cyphral is a readiness consultant only. We are not an accredited Certification Body and we do not issue or award Cyber Essentials certification. Certification is carried out by IASME and its accredited Certification Bodies. The IASME assessment fee is separate from our fees and is paid directly to the Certification Body.

Enquiries and no obligation

Sending an enquiry does not create a contract or oblige either party to proceed. Work begins only once scope and price are agreed in writing.

Fees and payment

Fees for each engagement are set out in a written proposal before work begins. The IASME assessment fee is not included in our fees. Payment terms are agreed per engagement.

We do not offer or recommend interest-bearing (riba) financing in any engagement.

Scope and your responsibilities

Our readiness work depends on accurate information and timely cooperation from you. Implementing recommendations and maintaining controls remains your responsibility.

Limitation of liability

We provide readiness consulting in good faith and to a professional standard, but we do not guarantee any particular certification outcome, which is determined solely by the Certification Body. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant engagement. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
